In with the Old Challenge: Week #2

So, MevetS (who created this challenge) posted his second In with the Old photo recently and it is a detailed pic of some snowflakes. I love it when it snows in the way that you can see the pattern of the shapes. That happens in Colorado sometimes.

Anyway, he linked over to a page on snow photographers and there was a link to "Ice Spikes" in your ice cube trays. Well, that happened to my ice cube tray once, but it wasn't because I put distilled water in the ice cube trays, as is the explanation for most ice spikes the website gives.

So, I figured it was a sign that one of my old 12 of 12 pics had to be my Week 2 In with the Old pic! Weird!

I've been all over that site and had never seen this. Now I need to go get some distilled water.

And some ice cube trays.
