In honor of one Allison J.s Camera, who passed last night after four and a half years of dedicated work to its slave driving owner. Apparently, the broken CCD image sensor costs upwards of $175 to replace, not counting shipping and handling, which Canon allegedly tries to wrangle out of its customers.
So, the old blog will have to take a little vay-cay from photo posting until Replacement/New Camera can be purchased, upon arrival of the currently-in-transit federal tax refund. At least the little guy waited for me to finish the document posted in the below picture before passing on to electronics heaven. *tear*
Heh.
Circuit City is giving away a free Epson photo printer (after a $100 mail in rebate) with purchase of a point and shoot camera. Yet another reason to love the Circuit City two blocks away from me.
