This isn't the greatest shot ever for a theme like Holographic but the story helps. So, there are these two pigeons who pretty much live on the top floor of my building and the flat, rock-covered roof of the building next door to me.
Supposedly, holographic ribbons will keep pigeons away because they don't like the sun reflecting off the ribbon into their eyes. Well, I bought some tape but never did hang it up. But this guy did!!! And as you can see..... "holographic scare tape" is NOT EFFECTIVE. Hahaha.

Maybe it works when you have more than 3 pieces up? Like a little curtain of them,
